| When I completed the “Drive of Your Life” game, I discovered that my personal style profile was outgoing, practical and questioning. The three careers that match my style are: architect, farm and home management advisor, and ambulance driver. From this information I have decided to explore becoming an architect, I selected this job because I enjoy the building things and I love working with other people. One of my daily activities as an architect is to meet with clients. I also have to be able to build. In addition, I have to go to college.To work as a architect, I need to have a master's degree. I must be good at communicating and monitoring in order to become a well trained architect. In the United States, the average salary for an architect is $91,870 per year. In the state of Virginia, the average annual salary is $89,851. In the United States by the year 2016, employment for a architect is expected to increase by 17.7%. In the state of Virginia by the year 2016, it is expected to increase by 18.5%. I am looking forward to becoming an architect in the future. |
